Shabbat Shalom

It was an incredible week filled with discovery, fun, and Ramah ruach (spirit)!  Today at camp we welcomed Shabbat, created our own special Shabbat traditions, learned about tefillin, did beautiful art projects, explored the farm, and of course played Gaga.

Every camper went home with a small challah and a large Shabbat brownie (a Palmer tradition) to help keep the Ramah spirit through the evening.

Two songs became our anthem this week: Mah Rabu and Ba-Kalil. See what happens if you start playing these near your kid(s), I suspect they will either start to dance or sing (or both).

I want to thank you for sharing your kids with us this week. It was a true honor to see them integrate into the Ramah Kehillah and thrive at camp.  I can’t end this week without thanking the tzevet (staff), they are beyond amazing and I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to launch Ramah Day Camp Greater Boston with each of them – WE DID IT!

We would so appreciate your feedback on the week. As we’ve said to the tzevet all week, we’re a startup and we’re always striving to improve. We’re eager to start planning for next year and your feedback is so important. Please take the time to complete this survey.
