Erev Mishpacha: Family Night!
This Wednesday we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon and early evening with many of our camp families. Campers enjoyed some time by edah (age group) while we prepared for parents and families to arrive. Once parents arrived, we began all together with rikud (dancing) on the lower migrash (field). We had an awesome rotation of chugim (activities) for families to choose from. We made self-care booklets in Omanut (art), gathered flowers from the farm, played all kinds of games and built legos, and learned about nature from Amiel, our Teva specialist. We then enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner, with chocolate chip cookies for dessert, of course. It was so wonderful for families to meet each other, and to see the new friends their children have made this summer!
