Mishlachat Reflections

A group of smiling children in yellow shirts and a woman in a blue shirt take a selfie at a zoo, standing in front of an animal enclosure with trees and a sign. It’s a sunny day and everyone looks happy.

Being Mishlachat (Israeli emissaries) at Camp Ramah Boston has been so much fun! Every morning we arrive at camp and welcome the campers with a big smile. We have taught them a lot Hebrew and had fun playing all different games and activities.

Each week, we introduced a different topic to explore in Hebrew. We have seen the campers progress and develop as they acquire a wider vocabulary. They know a lot of animals, colors, shapes, and places b’ivrit (in Hebrew). We have enjoyed learning and playing at camp all summer long!
