Beauty and the Beast in the Making!

For the past two weeks, our oldest campers have been hard at work preparing a special series of musical performances inspired by Beauty and the Beast. Led by our theater specialist, Noam Andelman, campers had the opportunity to audition for roles and choose which songs they wanted to perform, giving everyone a chance to showcase their unique talents. Younger campers have also been part of the production, taking on smaller solos and joining the ensemble, making this a campwide collaboration.

Behind the scenes, our creative campers have been just as busy in our set design chug. They have been designing, drawing, and painting the backdrops and props that will help bring the story to life. During the performance, these campers will also work backstage, moving scenery and making seamless scene changes to keep the show running smoothly.

We can’t wait to see all of their hard work come together when the performances take place next Friday. Whether a camper is playing the role of a singer, artist, or crew member, everyone involved has an important role. We are so excited to watch this showcase and see the culmination of everyone’s creativity, teamwork, and dedication over these three weeks of preparation.
