3D Printing Chug Brings Creativity to Life!

Another exciting first at Camp Ramah this summer was the debut of our 3D Printing elective—and it was a huge hit! Taught by the talented fabrication teacher from Gann Academy, this chug gave campers a hands-on introduction to one of the coolest technologies out there.

Campers began by learning the basics: what 3D printing is, how it works, and the incredible r

ange of things you can create with it—from keychains to custom toys and tools. They then dove into design software, where they imagined, designed, and refined their own original creations.

Watching their digital designs slowly take shape layer by layer on the 3D printer was a highlight for many campers. The process was mesmerizing, and the excitement in the room was contagious as projects came to life right before their eyes.

We loved seeing campers explore the intersection of art, design, and technology—and we can’t wait to see what they’ll create next summer!
