Camp’s Creativity on Display!

This week is Shape Week in Omanut (art)! Our campers are exploring the many ways shapes can be transformed into creative works of art. They are learning the art of origami, designing their own hanging mobiles, and even carving into linoleum to create custom prints. Each project introduces a new artistic technique while encouraging campers to think creatively.

One of the things that makes Omanut so special is that every week brings a completely new theme and set of projects. In past weeks, campers have explored paper mâché, jewelry making, and a variety of other hands-on crafts. Coloring stations are always available as well, giving campers the choice to relax and express themselves in whatever way inspires them. The constant variety keeps campers excited to sign up for Omanut week after week while continuing to learn new artistic skills.

Our campers love Omanut because it is a space where they can experiment with different materials, discover new techniques, and let their creativity guide every project. Although each camper begins with the same materials and instructions, no two finished pieces are ever alike. Every creation reflects the camper’s own imagination, personality, and artistic style, making each project something they can feel proud to bring home.

Omanut continues to be one of our most popular chuggim because it offers something for everyone, whether a camper is an experienced artist or simply enjoys making something with their hands. Through our constantly changing weekly themes, we strive to foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and give every camper the opportunity to discover the joy of creating something uniquely their own.
