Chugim: Choosing Our Own Adventure!

Every week at camp, we get to choose different activities for the week. These are our chugim – our special interest groups. This week, we had so much fun at all of our chugim, making new friends, new art, and learning new things!

In the Omanut (art) tent, we had a few different projects. We made paper crafts including paper mache, designed our own jewelry, and decorated challah covers for our Shabbat tables.

Out on the migrash (field), we played all kinds of sports. We learned ultimate frisbee and we played our favorite camp game Gaga. Inside the gym, we learned a lot of new basketball skills!

In the black box theater, we played drama games. We learned different ways to harness our energy and express ourselves!

There were also many board games and puzzles played in our game room, as well as a group learning about newspapers!
