Erev Mishpacha: A Joyful Night of Camp, Family, and Community

This week at Camp Ramah, we welcomed families for a very special evening: Erev Mishpacha (Family Night)! It was a heartwarming and joy-filled event where campers had the chance to show their loved ones what makes amp so magical.

Families got personal tours from their campers, who proudly showed off their favorite spots and activities. From visiting the chickens at the farm to shooting hoops in the gym, doing hands-on art projects in the Omanut (art) tent, splashing around during water play, and exploring cool STEM activities—there was something exciting to experience at every corner of camp.

We came together for a delicious dinner of pizza, Caesar salad, and French fries. The highlight of the night came after the meal, when the room filled with ruach (spirit) during shira (communal singing). It was a beautiful moment as campers and their families shared in the joyful, spirited energy that makes Camp Ramah feel like home.

Erev Mishpacha was a true celebration of our campers, their growth, and the vibrant community we’ve built together. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us!
