Splash Down at Water Country!

Last Wednesday, our oldest campers got to go to Water Country! Rachel Bikofsky, Rosh for the Nitzanim, Tamarim, and Alonim edot, said that they had a “fantastic trip.” While at the water park, they enjoyed relaxing on the lazy river and experiencing the wave pool. Many of the people on the trip also tested their courage by going down an extreme water slide, known as “The Patriot,” that measures 58 feet in height!
Teddy, a camper from Bunk 16, went down “The Patriot” and said that while it was “the most intimidating thing to do” at the park, it was “really fun.” In fact, going down “The Patriot” was one of his favorite things he did while at Water Country! If given the chance, he would definitely go down “The Patriot” again.
However, the fun didn’t stop once campers left the water park! They spent the bus ride back to camp playing games with their counselors and talking with one another. Upon returning to camp, campers were treated to an extra special waffle party, catered by none other than our very own Rabbi Silverman and Ianne Sherry! Overall, the trip to Water Country was a huge success!
