Teva: Nature’s Wonders

At our Teva chug, we have been learning about the development of human civilization through the construction of our very own ‘forest village’. We have been utilizing raw materials found exclusively in nature, some team work, and a lot of imagination to get the job done.

Children play in a wooded area, exploring near makeshift forts made from branches and leaves. The scene is lively, with several kids engaged in outdoor activities among tall trees and natural surroundings.

The campers have gravitated towards their preferred specialized roles as either builders, tool-makers, farmers, foragers, ‘medics’, etc. In this way, we have been able to discover in real-time the need for specialized labor, cohesion, architecture, urban planning, rationing resources, and more, all while having an incredible time!A group of twelve smiling children stand in a green, wooded area, some raising their hands in excitement.
