Yom Harry Potter: Magical Ramah

Children are playing dodgeball in a gymnasium. Four boys are running on the court, each holding or chasing yellow balls, while others watch from the bleachers. A basketball hoop and gym banners are visible in the background.

Our Yom Harry Potter day this Thursday was magical from start to finish. Our older campers including Etzim, Nitzanim, Tamarim, and Alonim started their day all together for magical swimming lessons and sorting into Hogwarts Houses.

In the afternoon, there was a rotation of Hogwarts classes and wizarding lessons. We studied Herbology at the farm and made wands from the woods surrounding camp. We designed House crests, and we studied Hogwarts and wizard-world “history,” with games and puzzles. There was a lively quidditch game and potion-making! We ended the day with a special magical Limud (learning) with spell trivia. We loved practicing magic all day long!
